Spiffergirl (IG/TikTok) cooked up these $1.77/lb pork spareribs, 5 for $1 corn & our jalapeño boudin poppers!Use hot sauce as a binder on the ribs & Chupacabra Cajun Rub. Let smoke at 225 degrees for a few hours. Make your Cajun-style BBQ Sauce:1 cup ketchup1 T garlic powder1 T onion powder1 T brown sugar1/2 t cayenne powder2 T maple syrup 1/4 c white vinegar1 t liquid crab boil1 t cajun seasoning1/4 c waterMix all ingredients together and bring to a simmer. Allow to reduce to desired consistency. During the last few minutes, add 1 oz Bourbon (optional). Wrap the ribs in foil and add butter, cajun seasoning, beer and liquid crab boil. Your Joe V's Smart Shop Recipe of the Week is Sausage & Shrimp Stuffed Poblanos from @spiffergirl (IG/TikTok)! This rings up at $2.50/serving!Ingredients: 3 poblano peppers8 oz andouille sausage, sliced12 oz small cooked shrimp (peeled) 1 white onion, chopped 1 tomato, choppedHandful of cilantro, chopped1 clove garlic, minced1 tomato bullion cube1 cup waterSalt/pepper to taste1 cup shredded cheese of choice Halve Poblanos lengthwise and remove ribs, stems, and seeds. Roast to get a slight char on both sides. Removing the skin is optional. Arrange the poblanos on a baking sheet. Add sausage, onions, tomatoes, garlic to a skillet and cook until vegetables soften. Add bouillon and water and bring to a boil. Add shrimp and simmer until liquid is reduced. Add sausage mixture into the poblanos and top with cheese.
